In the story of the life of Jenna, we have a set of regular players. Because I'm too lazy to link them/explain who they are in each post, I outline as many as I can here.
Abie
Abie shares a bedroom with me. I shared a bedroom with Abie for two years, from August 2003 to August 2005. As a roommate in the truest sense she spoiled me beyond belief with patience and lots of silliness. She is largely responsible for my pimptastic attitude, and any measure of ghettoness in me. She taught me that I am hott, and is personally responsible for a lot of my clothing purchases. She loves to study costume history. She currently resides in the fair city of San Diego and keeps a livejournal here and a blogspot here.

Allison
Allison (Alli) is another of the Apartment 6 family. She is funny and beautiful and an amazing dancer. Her favorite food is bacon, and she is also very fond of cheese. She and Catie (below) recently moved to NYC, where I believe they are currently rockin it out. She has a livejournal here.

Catie
Catie shares shared a room with Allison at Apartment 6. She takes lots of really beautiful photographs. She also acts as the Apartment 6 business manager and makes sure that we get all our bills paid and paid on time. I am totally in debt to her for being so damn organized all the time. I am still totally in debt to her for being so organized, although I'm sure she's happy to have been relieved of the business manager role. She is has mad, mad skillz as a writer and as a cook. She and Allison (above) recently moved to NYC, where I believe they are currently rockin it out. She keeps a fairly inactive livejournal here.

Alli and Catie are often referred to collectively as “the lil ones”.
Chris Brown
Chris Brown has one of those names where one always has to use his first and last together. He is also referred to as CB or Hollywood. He is my former coworker and maybe my closest confidant, knowing way more about my intimate life than he probably should. In the 4 short years that I have known him he has become one of my dearest friends, and being that there was a time when I spoke to him nearly everyday, he ends up in these pages a lot. He also keeps a website of his own here.
On an interesting side note, there was a time when CB and I were arch enemies. Not even joking.

Sam Deeds
Sam is a modern day philosopher. He totally does his own thing, and he would have no problem telling off haters except he is so damn nice. Back in the day, when I was actually on instant messager all the time, he was the buddy I could always count on to have something interesting to say if he messaged me. My conversations with him, both online and offline, are sprinkled through the site, often more or less uncredited (credited as "Dude", "S", "Sam", Deedsy", or... not credited at all). He loves courier new. He keeps a highly disorganized but throughly enjoyable website of his own here, and even though he stole the “Cast” page idea from me, I was on his way before he was on mine. He'll probably never let me forget it. Sam just became a father, and I am throughly convinced that he will be great at it. I'd like to direct you to his “babymaker” series of posts, in particular, the picture on this page with the caption that reads: “...daddy playing The Beatles "Blackbird" through mommy's stomach.”

Emily
Emily is another Apartment 6 college graduate. She is super hot and funny and loves to drink—almost as much as me. She thinks that every infatuation one has is adorable and will listen to all the boring details of your day just so she can hear about one little exchange that made all the difference. Emily knows how to take pleasure in the simple things. Plus between her and Melissa they know about every worthwhile indie band in the nation.

The Indian
I am going on nearly eight years of being friends with the Indian, also occasionally known in real life as JJ or Jasun. Besides teaching me everything I know about drinkin and smokin and some of what I've learned about pimpin, JJ is easily my closest friend in the entire world and the brother I never had. Outside parties have observed how funny it is that we share such a brother/sister dynamic while looking nothing alike. He has given me years of valuable advice and dead-on observation, and his sense of loyalty is unparalleled. All that and he cooks.

Maggie
Maggie is my oldest friend in the world. We met when, in fifth grade, we were forced to sit together on the school bus. Initially, each of us was terribly put out, but within weeks we were spending multiple nights at one another's houses and making sure we were sitting next to each other on the bus. Fast forward 13 years and we are still tight; in an always changing, unpredictable world, we have been one of the few constants in each other's lives. I adore her.
That, and she's a really funny drunk.

Melissa
Melissa is was the Apartment 6 medic (and still the number one medic in my life), and is the most consistently happy person I know. No matter what kind of mood you come home in she has a bit of dry wit or a corny joke to brighten you up. She is also amazingly patient with drunk people. Like a saint. And she always carries a first aid kit.

Neil
I met Neil in April 2004 when he started work at my company two desks down from me. I didn't even speak to him for the first two months of his tenure there, and then one day we got into a spirited debate about what makes a good pop song. Although I had previously thought him a Frattie punk who was going to give me nothing but trouble, this debate was the beginning of my crush on him (a period that yielded entries on this site referring to him as ‘Hot Greek Boy’ and similar variations) and eventually lead to an amazing friendship. I was partially right though. He gives me nothing but trouble, and I love it. He likes to make lots of seemingly innocent topics of conversation into lewd jokes, which I (usually) enjoy immensely. I also love the sound of his speaking voice, which relaxes me for some reason, even when he occasionally calls me during his afternoon commute to whine about traffic. However, the best thing Neil has done for me is to consistently push me to do more with my life than I would do on my own. He makes me strive for better things, if only because I have to keep up with him.
Neil now resides in Washington, D.C., where I suspect he spends a lot of time lamenting that I don't call him as often as I should.

Sarah
If you haven't heard of Sarah yet, I don't know where you've been. My kid sister is a rock star. That is all you need to know.
That and the fact that I could not be more proud of her. She's extraordinary.
